Binkey Kok Publications is specialized in multimedia publishing related
to Eastern Spirituality including Hinduism, Buddhism, Shamanism, meditation,
and singing bowls. Products are released simultaneously in Dutch, English,
German and French by way of an international distribution network.
On 1 January 2006, Mr Binkey Kok entrusted the diamond sceptre (also the
trademark of his company) to Gottmer Publishing Group; his book fund is now
an imprint of Altamira-Becht. This trademark – the diamond sceptre ¬– called
vajra in Sanskrit, is the symbol of the Vedisch god Inra. In Buddhism, the sceptre
embodies the eternal masculine principle, which signifies ‘the path’.
